Challenge
Orderwise approached Tank after hitting a ceiling with their organic efforts and visibility for important commercial terms related to “warehouse management software.” Their existing SEO agency had identified a significant link deficit as a likely obstacle to further improvements.
Solution
To improve the link equity of Orderwise’s warehouse management software section, it was crucial for their campaigns to be highly relevant to the topic to ensure high-quality and topically-focused links.
In 2022, due to Brexit, warehouse shortages were a significant issue, so Tank’s research utilised third-party data from Rightmove to identify the areas of the UK that were best for investment. This included considering the amount of space available versus the number of registered businesses in each area.
Results
The campaign received support from the UK Warehousing Association, adding clout to the data when pitching to media.
As a result, it was highly successful, resulting in over 15 links from new referring domains, including Motor Transport, Logistics Manager, and Business Leader.
