Nottingham-based digital marketing and PR agency, Tank, has expanded its digital offering with the appointment of a conversion rate optimisation (CRO) lead.

Dani Betts will head up Tank’s CRO offering, working closely with the agency’s wider digital team to ensure that those being driven to client websites stand the best chance of converting, whether that’s into sales, leads, downloads or sign-ups.

Bringing half a decade’s experience to the role, Betts previously worked for ecommerce giant PrettyLittleThing and in user experience (UX) roles at several SaaS businesses.

She said: “As an agency renowned for its extensive and varied client base, I’m thrilled to be joining the team at Tank to help more businesses maximise the value of their website traffic.

“Delivering user experience improvements to a website will improve conversion rates and ultimately deliver additional sales and revenue – without increasing media spend. All companies can benefit from CRO, regardless of their size or industry.”

Tank’s head of digital, Martin Harris, said: “A strong CRO offer is critical to Tank, as it cements its standing as a full-service digital marketing agency. CRO remains one of the most under-utilised strategies in digital marketing, and we’ll be using Dani’s wealth of experience and evident expertise to do something to change that.”
