Nottingham-based digital PR agency Tank has been appointed by global analytics leader SAS to deliver its UK and Ireland comms activities.

The technology company, which develops statistical analysis and artificial intelligence (AI) systems across multiple sectors, is one of the leading suppliers of the software worldwide. It counts some of the world’s largest businesses among its clients, including HSBC, Nestle and Honda.

Tank will deliver PR, digital PR and content work to develop the business’s reputation in its key UK and Ireland markets and its standing in search results.

The contract further cements Tank’s standing as a specialist in tech, after it was named in the PR Week Top 150 in 51st place for technology PR, out of around 5,000 agencies in the UK.

Stephen Yeo, marketing director in the UK and Ireland at SAS, said: “An increasing number of businesses are recognising the benefits of using analytics software and AI to streamline their operations, and make better decisions more quickly.

“Tank will make sure we are in the best position to take advantage of that and show organisations how the technology can help them.”

Martyn Gettings, head of PR at Tank, added: “As the market becomes busier, the need to give clear messaging and reliable, authoritative advice to potential customers is all the more important.

“To do this for SAS is something we relish. The business has recognised Tank’s track record in this field, and we will use our experience to justify that trust in us.”
