Tech PR Services

Make a name for your tech brand.

If your tech brand wants to be seen, it needs to make its way into the most relevant publications.

The world of tech PR is notoriously competitive. We know that good content means higher quality coverage, helping you generate digital media features and external links – improving your performance in search.

We can make this happen as your tech PR agency, listed as one of PR Week’s top 40 agencies in the UK. Startups and some of the world’s largest tech companies use us to get the right messages to their audience.

Talk to us about your Tech PR strategy.

Tech campaigns that help you make your mark.

Helping tech brands cut through the noise, build credibility, and connect with the right audience.

When it comes to getting your tech brand out there, marketing and PR is a task that fast-paced companies often don’t have the time or resources for. But, hiring an agency runs the risk of a “cookie cutter” strategy that relies heavily on buzzwords and lacks personality. As if being a tech company means you should show no human character…

And, it’s not just leads and customers you need to convince. It’s absolutely crucial to get your name out there in the media – a task that’s becoming increasingly difficult and competitive. Our team of copywriters, journalists and tech PR experts can turn any story into a media must-have.

Our Approach-

Opening doors with expert-led tech PR

Putting you in the right business and technology publications.

We work with our clients’ teams to establish a key target audience and produce a content strategy that is designed to get right in front of them. With our clients’ stories, we create content such as press releases, Q&As, profile pieces and case studies to promote software, services and products.

Having worked with tech brands with diverse target markets, B2B and B2C, we’re a tech PR agency that is well versed in creating relevant, unique content that appeals to your ideal audience – from purchasing teams to technical specialists or consumers. We write in a language they understand and spend time researching target media, to push your content in the right places. We consider what journalists want from our clients, and what their audience will want to read. We talk, we learn and we deliver.

Our Tech PR services include :

Tech PR campaigns

Digital PR and link building

Media training and preparation

Crisis management

We’ve changed the fortunes of organisations using PR, but not overnight. Our campaigns create a steady bedrock of credibility, which we can then build on to create an authoritative media presence.

We usually operate on a retainer basis, working towards strategic goals that we set with clients. While we also excel at delivering shorter PR projects for launches, seasons and events.

Creating excellent PR stories is in our blood at Tank. We know how to wield them to build authoritative links that add value to your website in Google’s eyes.

Our digital PR skills provide that and can help your tech brand to grow in organic search. Trying to do that without the right links is impossible. We’ll target the right domains in your niche to earn valuable mentions and links back to your site which move the needle.

Within the Tank team are several ex-journalists. Having been on the other side of the fence, they know what media organisations are looking for and how they will respond — both good and bad.

Our team uses this knowledge to train clients in how to make the media their ally. From effectively and succinctly getting your point across in an interview, to confidence and dealing with difficult questions, they prepare you to get maximum return from all media interactions.

Bad things occasionally happen and, when they do, they’re often a news story. Hoping they never will is no prevention. Your response, particularly in the initial stages, is critical in shaping the effects on your business.

Damage limitation in the media is all about planning a response to a crisis – way before it happens. We help clients to plan for possible outcomes that hopefully will never happen, but halving their impact if they do.

To do so, it needed to establish its voice as an authority in the press, as well as educating fast-growing businesses.

SAS white logo

Achieving top 3 status in Google for the keywords 'artificial intelligence' and 'AI'.

Multinational software specialist SAS wanted to boost the standing of its work with artificial intelligence (AI), drawing attention to the business as a leading expert in hyperautomation. To do so, it needed more links to its AI category page, and this campaign looked to do just that.

Our data-led campaign revealed which UK cities are most prepared for the ongoing advancements in artificial intelligence.

We used a variety of different data sources including number of related AI postgraduate courses, number of automation related jobs and R&D investment figures to create an index of the UK’s most AI ready cities.

To present these findings, we created a bespoke landing page on the SAS website and issued a press release to technology, trade and business media.

70+

referring domains from trusted, high-authority technology, regional and trade media sites.

Top 3

Achieved in Google for the keyword 'Artificial Intelligence' within a 12-month period.

172

Pieces of media coverage in the UK and Ireland over a 12-month period.
