Tank, a digital marketing and PR agency based in Nottingham’s Lace Market, has achieved its highest ever ranking in the PR industry’s most prestigious league table – the PR Week Agency Business Report 2024.

Breaking into UK’s Top 150 Consultancies list, which determines the top performers out of thousands of agencies, Tank ranked at 143rd position overall, climbing eight places from last year’s results.

Tank also increased its rankings in the PR Week sector specific tables, landing in 40th position in the UK for its tech credentials and 74th for its consumer work, whilst also achieving 60th for its B2B offering.

Led by Trevor Palmer and directors Martin Stone, Max Bevis and Phil Kelsey, Tank was the only East Midlands agency in the 150 ranking, and was the fastest growing agency in the Midlands by turnover, achieving 10th place outside of London and 50th in the UK.

Commenting on the results Martin Stone, director at Tank, said:

“Being named as one of the top 150 PR agencies in the country is a massive achievement for our whole team, showcasing Tank’s ambition and dedication to grow. As our client portfolio continues to expand in the UK and internationally, we’ve become renowned for our expertise within various niches of the tech industry, including FinTech, HealthTech, SpaceTech and EdTech.”

Continuing its growth this year, Tank has recently announced significant retainers across the B2C and B2B sectors with appointments from clients including Eurocell PLC and Highcross Shopping Centre.

“Having established ourselves as a full-service digital marketing agency, PR Week’s latest ranking proves how strong our reputation is as a leader in our inaugural service. Our brand PR and digital PR teams have grown significantly, in line with our digital offer.”

The agency retained its title as the top overall performer in the East Midlands for a fourth consecutive year, ranking 3rd overall in the Midlands, and 24th outside of London.

Founded in 2010 by PR consultant Trevor Palmer, Tank works for clients such as SAS, ECI, Affinity and The Access Group.
