Challenge

Esendex, a communications platform provider, helps businesses connect with customers through SMS, RCS, WhatsApp, email and voice. Operating in a competitive market, Esendex wanted to build its authority and establish itself as a recognised name. The main goals were to raise brand awareness, improve organic visibility, and drive high-quality traffic and leads.


Solution

Tank delivered a full-service digital marketing strategy, starting with brand awareness and evolving into a blend of PR, SEO and performance activity.

Quarterly digital PR campaigns generated wide-reaching coverage in titles such as the Metro, Independent and Daily Mail, alongside targeted brand PR in trade and vertical press across retail, healthcare, financial services and travel.

Campaign highlights included creative data-led stories around missed appointments, flight delays, delivery delays at Christmas, and the AI skills gap – all generating interest, brand strength and credibility for the company.

On the SEO side, we shifted the keyword strategy towards more commercially valuable terms, making content and UX improvements to core pages as well as improving the site navigation. Following on from our initial work with Esendex, we now also support with helpful and relevant audience-focused content, as well as CRO, paid social and paid search to capture and convert new leads.


Results

Tank generated more than 200 media mentions, with over a third including a high-quality backlink to the Esendex site, driving a 17% year-on-year increase in organic sessions, a 13% rise in engaged sessions, and a 21% uplift in key organic conversion events.
