Tank appoints Client Strategy Director
Our digital marketing and PR agency has welcomed back former employee Dave Endsor in the new role of client strategy director.
Drawing on 15 years of agency and in-house experience, Dave will lead on client strategy for Tank’s global portfolio of clients.
The role will see Dave working across Tank’s brand PR, digital PR, content, paid media, CRO and SEO teams, taking responsibility for developing multi-channel and channel-specific strategies, ensuring that clients receive a joined-up and strategic marketing service.
Dave previously worked for Tank between 2015 and 2021, before taking on the role of senior digital marketing manager for Blue Light Card, the UK’s leading discount provider for the emergency services, NHS, social care sector and armed forces. During this time, Dave led Blue Light Card’s social media, digital and content strategy, achieving 40% growth of organic social YOY from FY22 to FY23.
Dave said:
“It’s fantastic to be back agency-side and take on a new role within Tank. Since 2021, Tank has grown significantly and added a number of new services and talented people to its team. There’s definitely no other agency I’d choose to work at and I’m excited about my next challenge.
“With marketing budgets under increasing scrutiny, we know that clients want an agency partner that will question activity and constantly review the strategic approach – not simply continue doing what’s always been done. Whether they’re trying to grow the business, improve brand awareness or launch in a new market, there has to be a clear strategy that underpins it all.”
Commenting on the appointment, Martin Stone, director at Tank said:
“Past team members returning to a business is increasingly rare, and it’s great to welcome Dave back to Tank. I believe this is a testament to the culture we have developed at Tank and this new role is part of an exciting new structure we are building.”
Earlier this year, Tank achieved its highest ever ranking in the PR industry’s most prestigious league table – the PR Week Agency Business Report 2024. Breaking into UK’s Top 150 Consultancies list, which determines the top performers out of thousands of agencies, Tank ranked at 143rd position overall, climbing eight places from last year’s results. Tank also landed in 40th position in the UK for its tech credentials, and 24th overall outside of London for its combined B2B, tech and B2C offering.
