Digital marketing and PR agency, Tank, has further strengthened its SEO, GEO and AI search capabilities with two new appointments – expanding the agency’s integrated digital offering across its Nottingham and Manchester offices.
Beuford Smith joins as SEO lead, alongside Laura Cooney, who takes on the role of technical SEO specialist. The pair’s arrival has bolstered Tank’s growing SEO team, working alongside senior SEO manager Connor Dowling and senior SEO specialist Charlotte Yardley.

Known for his analytical approach and ability to translate data into actionable insights, he has helped brands such as Signet Jewelers (the parent company of H. Samuel and Ernest Jones) and Reckitt Benckiser (the parent company of household names like Durex and Nurfen and Dettol) enhance their visibility, improve rankings and achieve measurable commercial impact.
Laura joins with a specialist focus on the technical side of SEO, bringing expertise in site architecture, performance optimisation and search engine accessibility. Her experience spans technical audits, on-site optimisation and supporting complex website migrations, ensuring brands are set up for long-term search success.
