Nottingham and Manchester-based digital marketing and PR agency Tank, has been appointed by Pall-Ex, a leading palletised freight distribution network, to deliver a comprehensive PR, SEO and PPC strategy.

Acting as an extension of Pall-Ex’s marketing function, Tank will be tasked with strengthening brand visibility, supporting haulier member growth and positioning the business as an end-to-end logistics partner.

Founded on a collectively owned structure, Pall-Ex operates through a unique membership model of over 130 hauliers, utilising central hubs and shared infrastructure. This model remains a key differentiator in the logistics sector and a central pillar of the company’s growth strategy, alongside the expansion of its third-party logistics (3PL) offering.

Tank’s remit spans brand PR, search and always-on paid media, alongside training and enablement support for the in-house marketing team. The partnership will also include quarterly strategic workshops designed to align marketing performance with wider commercial priorities, including network growth, lead generation and market positioning.

Speaking about the appointment, Tank’s managing director, Martin Stone, said:

“This is exactly the kind of brief our team thrives on – complex, multi-layered and built around a genuinely strong business with a clear and distinctive story to tell. Having previously worked with Pall-Ex, it’s great to be welcoming the network back to Tank.

“Pall-Ex has a unique model and an ambitious growth agenda to match, and our role is to bring that to life in a way that cuts through the noise.”

Harry Laverick, Group Head of Marketing at Pall-Ex, added:

“As long-time friends of Tank, we’re delighted to be working together again. Over the years, we've watched the agency grow and establish a reputation built on the team's strategic and proactive nature, its strong media relationships and an integrated approach that puts brand visibility at the heart of every campaign.

"Together, the partnership will be instrumental in helping us attract new customers and high-quality members to our network, reinforcing our position as the market leader in palletised freight distribution across the UK and Europe."
